Welcome to Robert P. Schuster, P.C.

Robert P. Schuster, P.C., is a trial lawyer firm that tries and wins complex cases. Nationally recognized as one of the most successful trial firms in the country, our success has always been founded on the simplest formula: personal attention to each client, creative and unrelenting hard work, and an aggressive devotion to excellence.

Our trial practice is limited to three types of cases: significant commercial cases with an emphasis on intellectual property issues, white collar criminal defense, and selected personal injury cases. In civil cases, we represent the plaintiff, typically on a contingency fee basis. We have obtained record settlements and verdicts for our clients, including a settlement in excess of $100 Million in New Mexico and the largest jury verdict for personal injury damages in Wyoming’s history ($17.5 Million).

Based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, our practice is nationwide. Our principal lawyer, Robert P. Schuster, has been recognized as one of the outstanding lawyers in the country by The Best Lawyers in America in both Commercial Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation.

Mr. Schuster has consistently received the highest possible rating from his fellow lawyers as “AV Preeminent” in Martindale-Hubbell, the national and international encyclopedia of practicing lawyers. He is designated as a “Mountain States Super Lawyer” for Business Litigation and Plaintiffs’ Personal Injury Litigation and is recognized in Super Lawyers Business Edition for his accomplishments in Business Litigation. Robert P. Schuster, P.C., is the only Wyoming law firm to be ranked by U.S. News & World Report in the first tier of the nation’s best law firms in both Commercial Litigation and Plaintiffs Personal Injury Litigation.  The analysis undertaken by U.S. News not only selected the nation’s best law firms but, within those selected firms, further ranked them as being first or second tier. Bob Schuster is an invited lecturer at national and international business and legal conferences.
