Airplane Crashes

Experienced Aviation Crash Lawyer

Aviation crashes are terribly unforgiving catastrophes and are almost always the result of manufacturing negligence, pilot error, or negligent maintenance.  Robert P. Schuster, P.C., has successfully represented victims of major airline crashes as well as crashes of private, fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters for decades.

In 2010 alone, there were 130 crashes of fixed-wing aircraft capable of carrying six or more passengers. 1,105 people were killed — the highest number of fatalities in 4 years. But those statistics do not include the number of people killed in smaller aircraft or helicopters. In the decade of the 2000s, there was only a 24% survival rate in crashes involving planes capable of carrying ten or more passengers. They are, in short, terribly tragic events.
