Oil and Gas Royalty Litigation

Together with the Murdock Law Firm, P.C., Mr. Schuster represented royalty interest owners who brought suit against oil and gas companies alleging violations of the Wyoming Royalty Payment Act. The cases also requested class-action certification for royalty payees who were not paid in accordance with the provisions of the Act. Fourteen class action lawsuits resulted in payment of over $25 Million to Wyoming royalty owners.

Mr. Schuster has been involved with oil and gas law since he started his law practice in Casper, Wyoming, in 1971.
